Welcome to the Orpheum
Our Story
The Orpheum has a rich history as a piece of the Buena Vista community. It was first built in 1909 and reconstructed after a fire destroyed much of the building in 1940. During it's early days it served as a theater and gathering hall and in the late 1990's become a theatrical non-profit that hosted community theater and much more.
Today The Orpheum honors and celebrates the growth and needs of our local Buena Vista community and beyond. As the Premier Downtown event venue we host weddings, receptions, and provide space for community events that preserve the true nature of this incredible town.
